Life is a perennial journey where we are travelers. And the destination is unknown. Once we are born on the planet, we become a part of the traveling herd, where each new day with the rise of the morning sun, we continue our onward journey to lands hitherto unexplored. But one point to keep in mind is that this is an onward journey - one way ticket. Once we have started, there's no looking back. You can change your path, diverge through newer crossroads, but you can't turn back, every step forward marks a new "Now" and those receding footprints on the sands of time become memories of yesterday. In this onward journey of life, its the present that is of paramount importance.
This journey is a quest to rediscover our inner identity. In the very process of living life, we visit new lands, meet strange people, share novel experiences and are ground in the centrifugal maze of time - ups and downs, highs and lows, sunshine and rain alike - we become seasoned to the diversified facets of life. Over time, perhaps the greatest lesson learnt is living in the present moment, making the most of every passing second. Every morning we awake to a new day, filled with many more new dreams. And at the center of each new dream or aspiration is that "ME" seeking eternal glorification. In this journey of life, each traveler moves forward with a different purpose - to unearth the inner self. And the best way to do so is to follow the call of your heart. Your mind and reasoning always try to dictate your actions, domineering over your free will. But to discover the true self, you must unleash your potentials, follow your call with single-minded devotion.
Ignite that primal instinct - that spirit of travel in your heart and set off in the search of your destination. Get out of your comfort zone, pack your bags, get set and GO! Constancy dulls the experiences of life, making it too monotonous and devoid of charm. Its time to say yes to adventure. Because it is only in the midst of strangeness that you will discover the "real you". Your hidden talents and abilities, your infinite capacity to manage things, trudge on despite the odds will only be brought to life in the face of adversity. Remember, life within the confines of your comfort zone is devoid of adventure. Unearth that traveler within yourself and put it to the test. And trust me, the results are truly amazing!
Always remember, every person's journey leads to a different road. And no two roads are the same. You may have to struggle through rocky terrain, dangerous waters and mighty peaks while the other person just skims through green valleys and meadows. But don't lose heart. Keep up the spirit - in adversity, all you have is only you. The purpose of this journey is to rediscover your true self, to dream new dreams. And you have been given this life because you are strong enough to live it, to do justice to the arduous journey you have set upon, for you are a true traveler.
Visit new lands, new countries, new people, travel through lands hitherto unknown and unleash the spirit of adventure and venture into the wilderness. Spend the night camping on a lonely meadow, and fall asleep watching the silvery moon singing lullabies to delight you. And when the next sun rises, pack your bags and set off in your quest under the auspices of a glorious morning, never to look back again. After all, life's journey is a one way ticket!
